Our team of professional instructors is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential. With years of experience and a passion for the game, our coaches provide expert guidance in hitting, pitching, fielding, and more. Each instructor brings unique skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive and challenging environment for all our athletes. MARISA TREVINO

  • played third base at ASU; member of 2006 & 2007 Women’s College World Series teams

  • 7 years of college coaching experience at Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC), Santiago Canyon College and Fullerton Colleges, won California Community College Championship with Mt. SAC

  • 15 years of experience as hitting, fielding and throwing instructor

  • developed the softball training program at the MLB Youth Academy in Compton functioning in her role as Softball Coordinator - first Major League Baseball (MLB) full-time employee for softball training

  • has coached at the UCLA Softball Camp

  • currently Office Manager for the MLB Youth Academy in Compton

  • currently coaching the ^6U Pink Unicorns in the Placentia Yorba Linda Girls Softball Association spring season

Hector Ambriz

  • Pitched in the big leagues with Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros & San Diego Padres

  • 14 year professional baseball career with 976 innings pitched, 376 games played, 124 games started & 104 games finished (closer)

  • Played at UCLA (2003-2006) as a starting pitcher, first baseman and designated hitter

  • while at UCLA, candidate for Brooks Wallace Award (National College Baseball Player of the Year)

  • 2 time UCLA Co-Most Valuable Pitcher while playing for legendary Pitching Coach John Savage

  • named Pac 12 Pitcher of the week, Pac 12 Player of the Week & 1st Team All Pac 12 as a designated hitter

  • 3 time All-Cif, 3 time Orange league Player of the Year, All- Orange County while playing at Valencia High School in Placentia

Missy Poti

  • played at Biola University for former University of Oregon All-American shortstop, Coach Nikki Udria

  • Pac West Defensive Player of the Year

  • earned Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Masters Degree in Coaching and Sports Administration from Concordia University

  • 3 years of college coaching experience at Orange Coast College (OCC); assistant coach of former UCLA all Pac 12 shortstop, OCC Head Coach Jodi Legaspi-Kiaha

  • 6 years coaching experience teaching hitting, catching, fielding and throwing

  • current Softball Coordinator at Major League Baseball Youth Academy in Compton; Head Coach of the Academy softball teams and directs all softball activities

TIM NOLAN

  • pitched At Biola University - nationally ranked as a closer for Saves and Appearances; also played at Fullerton College & Sonora High School

  • multiple years of experience coaching college pitchers from all levels during summer ball

  • 2017 Nogales High School Pitching Coach - pitchers set school record for lowest ERA in school history

  • earned Masters of Science Degree in Coaching and Exercise Science

  • authored a book named Pitcher Consciousness to help young athletes develop the mental skills to become elite pitchers

Dee Dee Kingsbury

  • Cal State Fullerton Associate Head Coach (2009-2014) & Pitching Coach (2003-2008); Univ. of Wisconsin Pitching Coach (2000-2002)

  • Coached multiple All-Americans and several All-Conference selections during her college coaching career

  • UCLA All-American Pitcher and played on the 1990 & 1992 National Championship teams

  • nominee for Honda Broderick Award (National College Softball Player of the Year)

  • pitched 16 no-hitters during her UCLA career and established a UCLA single season pitching record with 359 strikeouts in 1994

  • Played 4 season in the Women’s Professional Softball League (WPSL)

  • During her WPSL career, pitched a perfect game and established several pitching records
